America is turning 250 years old, and there is no better place in the entire country to celebrate than right here at Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This is a once-in-a-generation milestone — the Semiquincentennial — and we have an extraordinary full day planned that will take you from sunrise to fireworks. Here's how to make the most of it!



🌅 MORNING — Kick Off July 4th the Revolutionary Way!


Start your Independence Day with a bang — literally! — at the 44th Annual RevRun, presented by the Upper Makefield Business Association! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just looking for a fun way to get the family moving on America's birthday, we have a distance for everyone:

🎽 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk — perfect for all ages and abilities

🥇 USATF-Certified 5K — for runners who want to chase a PR on a historic course

🏅 USATF-Certified 10K — for those who want to go the extra mile (and then some!)


The Fun Run kicks off at 8:00 AM, the 5K at 8:15 AM, and the 10K at 8:45 AM. The race starts with a musket fired by a Washington Crossing Historic Park reenactor — because this is the RevRun, and we do things differently here! 💨


But here's the most important thing: register before the July 3rd midnight deadline at www.revrunpa.com! Early registrants lock in a discounted entry fee, a free commemorative t-shirt, AND a finisher's medal.

☀️ AFTERNOON — Celebrate with Family and Friends!

After you cross that finish line and collect your medal, the day is yours! Fire up the grill, gather the family, and soak in the holiday spirit the way it was meant to be enjoyed. The greater Washington Crossing area is also home to some wonderful towns to explore — New Hope, Lambertville, Yardley, Newtown, and Peddler's Village are all just a short drive away and perfect for a post-race afternoon stroll. Browse the shops, grab a bite, and take in the charm of one of the most scenic corners of the Delaware River Valley.


🏕️ EVENING — Step Back in Time at the Living History Program!


Head back to Washington Crossing Historic Park from 4:00–8:00 PM for the Living History Program, and prepare to be transported straight to 1776! 🎉


This immersive experience features Revolutionary War military encampments, live musket demonstrations, dramatic readings of the Declaration of Independence, family-friendly activities for all ages, and a very special debut — your first look at a brand-new Durham boat replica, created in an exciting partnership with the Independence Seaport Museum. These are the boats that carried General Washington and his troops across the Delaware River on that fateful Christmas night in 1776. Seeing a replica up close, in this place, on America's 250th birthday? That's a moment you won't forget.

🎵 FREE Concert on the Delaware — 8:00 PM!

As the sun goes down, pull up a spot along the waterfront for a FREE outdoor concert featuring the incredible Keith Chasin and Ravi Seenarine! Great music, warm summer air, and the Delaware River as your backdrop — it doesn't get much better than that. 🎶



🎆 Fireworks Over the Delaware — 9:15 PM!

And then — the grand finale! Cap off an extraordinary day with a spectacular fireworks display over the Delaware River at approximately 9:15 PM. On the 250th birthday of the United States of America, in one of the most historic locations in the entire nation, watching fireworks light up the sky above the very river where history was made.✨
