Why Serious Runners Should Race the RevRun 5K & 10K
A Certified Course. A Historic Setting. A Race Worth Your Training.
You train year-round. You track your splits. You know the difference between a certified course and a fun run. So here's what you need to know about the RevRun: the 5K and 10K are both USA Track & Field certified courses.
This is a real race. Your times count. And on July 4, 2026 — the 250th anniversary of American independence — the RevRun offers something no other certified race can: the chance to run through Washington Crossing Historic Park on the most significant July 4th of our generation.

The Course
The RevRun courses wind through the scenic roads of Washington Crossing and the surrounding area — a mix of challenge and beauty. The 10K is the serious runner's event, with enough distance to truly test your fitness while taking in the stunning landscapes of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The 5K is no slouch either — a competitive field, a certified course, and the kind of community atmosphere that brings out your best effort.
The Competition
The RevRun has attracted competitive runners for 44 years. You'll be racing against a serious field — local club runners, Boston and New York City qualifiers, age group competitors — all in the same morning that families are celebrating together. It's a unique race atmosphere: genuinely competitive and genuinely festive at the same time.
Age group awards, competitive timing, and a community celebration at the finish. This is what July 4th racing should be.
Train With Purpose
July 4th is 12+ weeks from early April — perfect timing to build a training block for either the 5K or 10K. Whether you're chasing a PR, returning from injury, or running your first certified race, the RevRun is the perfect goal race to anchor your spring/summer training.
✔ 5K Goal Race: 12-week training plan puts you at peak fitness right at July 4th.
✔ 10K Goal Race: Longer build with quality workouts through May and June, tapering perfectly.
✔ Race Day Conditions: Early July 4th morning start time helps beat the heat — get there early.
